Cruiser Meets outside of Motohouston

Motohouston don't have cruiser meets!

Yep they sure don't. However, i was going home yesterday when a guy sais hey theres a Meet at Mancuso, probably last Thursday of every month or something like that.

SO i thought, why don't we post up meets outside of Motohouston, which will surely have more cruisers. And even cruiser rides where we can just ride there and join.

So what say ya'll?

Every kind of bike is welcomed at every meet, I'm sure.

Cruiser riders just hardly ever come out, they should.

i have riden my road king to a central meet or two...took my tmgp bike to them (in the back of my truck) and ridden my cbr... I think of MH meets as an MH meet, not a type of bike meet.

I've been riding for some time now, and if there is one thing I have learned is cruisers and street bikes are a breed apart. I've ridden both and have had both and once I got my cruiser I still keep in touch with my other friends who ride street bikes but I can't ride as hard as I used to now that I have a 1600 Roadstar. But I wouldn't trade it for anything. But back to the cruiser meets, I work offshore and I would love to meet every now and again.

My friends and I get together every other Saturday to hang out and ride. It's a mixed crowd of bikes, but really laid back. Hit me up if you want to join us

I understand what you mean about a breed apart and I agree with you. I have a HD and a GSXR and it seems that I also have 2 sets of friends that I ride with depending on which bike I decide to ride that day. My HD friends don't like riding with my sportbike friends and vice versa for the sportbike friends. I think its because its a totally different type of ride for each group. On the HDs we cruise long roads and ease through some twistys at a little above the speed limit, nothing too agressive. But the Sportbike friends of mine like going much faster much more agressive and actually do more riding than my HD friends. We end up bar hoping on the HDs and they spend alot of time in parking lots but the sportbikes tend to get more miles on them on any given sunday. Its not like they hate each other but when your'e on a big heavy handling cruiser its really not alot of fun trying to keep up with a bike that can leave you behind with the twist of the wrist.I know I didn't enjoy it the times I was out on the HD with my sportbike friends and I felt like a trailer behind them. I still love both and enjoy riding either one any chance I get though and I get along with either group without any problems. If I feel like bar hoping and just chillin with friends I take the HD. If I want to get out,get agressive and burn up some roads I take the GSXR. JMO

I got my Harley and stopped riding with people all together. Pretty sure it's just me not wanting to socialize.

I agree with you Obed, just like what I did with a Rocket going with cruisers. I felt out of place.
