This is why I always try to avoid night riding. Did you stand up and use your legs as shock absorbers?

Never ceases to amaze me the amount of I see on the highways out here, that and how many morons I see towing vehicles on public roads (and HIGHWAYS) with straps, rope, or chains.

Was it at I-10 and Gessner? Eastbound lanes? If so, I ran over some pieces of 2x4s and others in the GTR. I slammed on the brakes so hard I am sure the people behind me had an Oh$hit moment. I rolled over it as slow as I could.

my battery cover fell off last year while on the way back from luckenbach.

i've noticed how much different the sporty takes on bumps in the road or the city nipples (the white dots laid out all over the freeways). the sport bike i felt everything.

did u hit it at an angle? or perpendicular? I hit one on 59 on the cbr. felt like a small speed bump and hopped my bike a bit. as soon as I saw it, i just grabbed the clutch, killed throttle and hope for the best.. first time ever hitting one.. coulda been worse? at least the car in front of me didnt pop it up a few inches.. that woulda been bad. I've ran over one while in a car and that is a bit more rattling as it hits the undercarriage. glad ur ok man.
