Best route to Kingsville Texas?

Hey guys, I am planning on visiting my little bro tomorrow in Kingsville. Has anyone ridden over there? If so what's the best route? Mainly looking for good roads and scenic, mainly good roads lol.

Thanks in advance.

In my experience of traveling to Corpus Christi, there's not really much that I could suggest. There's the usual 59 to 77 which is long and straight. There's the more scenic and longer TX 35 to Corpus to 77 to Kingsville, but the ride isn't that much better.

Those are the only routes that I know.

Have fun. Last time I made the ride down, I ended up returning a few days later than planned because I didn't want to make the boring ride back.

the only thing more boring than riding to Kingsville would be driving to Kingsville...

Good luck! That's a boring and windy ride. I went to college down there.

Following the coast will be slightly more scenic and not nearly as boring.

LOL! I took off this morning and now that I got here I read everyone's posts and they were right on point. Ride was straight, windy, and boring. Oh well I came to spend some time with my little bro so it's whatever. I might take a different route on my way home to see how it is. Thanks guys

that's funny. you doubled the length of the trip! 8 hours and 18 minutes!

I won't ever try that one! it does look to have a lot more turns.

I just got home. And the ride over here was very interesting. I went though this ruhynu4a

It was pitch black pouring rain. I got completely soaked. At least I got to test my new s20s in the rain lol, they did awesome!

I did the trip last weekend. It is EXTREMELY boring. But I did make some very high speed runs...

I hope you were able to visit Young's Pizza or some other cool eats while you were there.
