If you all are going to be out there next weekend shoot me a PM, if the weather is good I'll meet up with you. For anyone wanting a little more sane pace I'll be happy to oblige as well. Last weekend the weather was cool enough that the harleys were out in force, especially between vanderpool and leakey. Also there was a state trooper doing good business between the good parts of 337 after vanderpool.

P.S. 55 is freaking awesome, but there is a NASTY midcorner bump about two turns from the end of the good part.

I'm going to try and catch up with you guys. I may be there Thursday also, but definitely early Friday morning until Sunday. Hope my radiator guard comes in tomorrow.

There was a "Rumble on The River" rally in Bandera this past weekend, that's why all the bikes. At first I thought it was the good weather. Saturday we saw the Statie on 337 but some sportbikes and cruisers did the head pat so we slowed it down a bit until he passed.

On Sunday we took 470 out of Bandera to 187 into Vanderpool instead of 337>187. It was a nice alternate route. There was almost NO one on those roads. There were some really great turns on those roads as well.

We saw officer Bob on 337 Sunday afternoon, but he was actually closer to Medina. We were doing the SL but still...just gives me more reason to avoid 337 from Medina to Vanderpool...

In my honest opinion. Gary could've left em in the dust. I've ridden with him several times and he is SICK fast. Sorry i missed this ride. Hope to be on the next.

I've always wondered about that, but I don't think it will be an issue

Actually, wait....You have 2nd Gen CBR 1000RR, those radiators and fairings are very penetrable, ask cdill35

No, I'm staying in a "kabin" as they call them. Will probably have an extra twin bed if anyone wants to crash there.

I'm blaming you if the weather sucks this week, Si.ce the original date was this past week when we had freaking awesome weather.

When did I say bigger is better? How does that in any way relate to this thread?

Looks like we're going to cancel our reservations for this weekend. Sorry I'm going to miss this one. Had a schedule conflict at the last minute which was going to put us there Friday evening. We are going to plan on going with Viffer, Jimmy and the guys on Oct 19th.
