Dirt bike tyres

I have searched everywhere, but can't find an answer.

Wear indicators on offroad tyres?.......

Once there is no indention left on the top of the "", does that mean it is time??

Just by the seat of your pants. That's about it. When you feel they aren't giving you the performance you need, then time to get new ones. For me, typically the fronts start to lose knobs (from all the rocks here in Austin) and same for the rears too.

I'm with dhdrider run your tires until they don't fell right anymore, if you are getting traction in the dirt or whatever the surface is you can wear those knobbies down quite a bit as long as you still get traction. If you are racing, well thats probobly a different story.
