Lost Key! Can any shop in town order a new one?

..based on the VIN?

Id rather get a stock one then have a locksmith make a key..

any help peeps?

exactly, remove the cylinder, unplug the wireing harness and carry it to a shop for re/key or replace lock cylinder. easy stuff

Can't do it by VIN.
If you have the little metal / plastic tag with the key number on it that you may have recieved when you bought the bike, the dealer can make it from that.
If not, remove the upper triple and keyswitch and take it to a locksmith. Shouldn't be more than $50.00.

I left my key on the bumper of my truck once and I took my bike to a locksmith off of almeda and beltway8 $65.00 and the key fit gas tank,trunk, and ignition ....lol and was no questions asked he was very quick to point that out
