Smile i finally got a euro key!

i know its a waste of a money but i found the yamaha key too plain so i bought a blank euro key for the of it.

it really is a lot nicer than the us key. One question,WHY? The US market gets the shaft on so many things like this. Color scheme is another, the new white with red r-6 was/is sooo nice looking but i don't think we get it here. Why make a different key for different places?

thats what i been saying, i wish i knew the answer to those question. i been wanting that red and white scheme forever. too bad i don't know anyone in the UK that will ship the fairings over here. :eh:

you should try buying new keys for newer cars these days........100-200 bucks for the ones with electronics on them....

98-05 gs300/400/430....only comes with one master key, and one valet key when car is purchased.....you can NOT make another masterkey without another master key.

car is equipped with a computer to read key signal. you can program up to 4 masterkeys i believe, but you need a masterkey to be able to access program. therefore if you lose you're only masterkey....you're fooked

the lexus dealership in dallas sells the same exact key with programming for half the cost....so i don't know whats up with these dealerships raping houstonians.

i think they add on a programming labor or whatever. keys just bump start.
