And what do those facts seemingly allow others to do? To judge.

Obed: Hmmm... is this OUR guy? not 3 times, really?

No, that didn't sound judgmental at all...if people minded their own business more, the world would be a way better place. I limit that of course to sexual offenders, thieves, unsolicited assault and damage to property. That would mean those offenders didn't mind their own business and with mine or someone else's. Traffic offenses, really?

shes right. Based on her posts alone I have changed my whole outlook on life and will never be interested in what's going on in the world ever again. Ever.

so, my knowing someone makes the stupid they do less stupid?
hazardous, irresponsible behavior is ok when it is a friend who does it?
that is sort of like saying lets don't grade exams becuase it affects the self esteem...do you not realize that folks die on the roads everyday because of actions like that one? friendship does not change the facts, nor should it protect them from the consequences of their actions... do you ever wonder if some of your friends should even own a motorcycle? i know some folks that maybe should not be driving...

No, knowing the person means you can connect the person with their action and that their action is separate from the person that they are. I don't agree with his actions at all, but nobody but he, and the law has a right to judge him.

I'm surprised that with your advanced you would be so concerned with what other people are doing, have you not made your mistakes and learned from them? Was it a public flogging that helped you through it?

so you think that a history of behavior that puts inocent bystanders at risk is not the business of others? would the highways and streets of texas really be a better place if we allowed that kind of behavior... put drunks back in the drivers seat...lets face it, this type of behavior is considered criminal for a reason... and that makes it everyones business....
if what you do does not put other folks at risk, then it is your business and not anyone elses problem, but when what you do hurts or endangers others... then it is the business of others... personally i do not want that type of asshatery on public roads and think people who repeatedly do that kind of should not be allowed to own a vehicle... and i have no desire to ride with them, or have them ride at all... one time could be a mistake that someone can mature, learn and outgrow, but three times is not a mistake, it is a personality trait, it is a habit...
was i being judgemental... A straight... and it is time more folks got that way...but if it makes you feel like you are being loyal to a friend, have fun...but is what you are doing really being a friend? consoling may make you feel good, but it does nothing to help your friend long term...next time it happens, and there will be a next time, he may not be so lucky...he may bear the burden of being responsible for killing or maiming another human being or killing himself...what you are doing is more along the lines of enabling...
it is buying a drunk and drink

of course, I am violating my own code by even being so completely annoyed by this...and therefore speaking out. It should be Clayton's to deal with. But I don't blame him bothering.

Besides, all of this is for me and not anybody else, I'm not expecting to change minds but hope that you can at least understand how others my feel about this.

this is where you and i are really going to disagree, a person IS what they do...
a man who tells lies is a liar...
a man who steals is a thief...
you are what you do...what you do is an expression of who you are...

Well, I just think your energy would be better spent on puppy killers and stuff like that than a guy who violated traffic laws.

Murder she wrote is on.

TMGP has a track day in katy.

Your dogs need the ball thrown.

There is some paperwork that needs to refiled in your file cabinet.

Call the grandkids.

Just let it die already.......

This is coming from the fact that I'm a teacher, and I typically need to separate their student persona if bad...from the person that they are, which is usually good
