That is why I never pull all the way up into a parking spot. There is no fool proof way to park but I figure its easier to see that way

No just thinking that it would take a decent "bump" to push it over from the left side because the kick stand would give some resistance. But after further thought it could have been at a slight angle and caused it to roll off the kick stand.

when i was married to the mother of my sons, I would occasionally find my bike laying on its side.... turns out when she would get mad at me for something, she would go out to the garage and push my bike over.

Do you park with your bike in neutral or in gear? Just curious, and also were your handlebars locked? (I always lock bars and park in gear so the bike cant roll) curious if your bike was in gear AND got bumped over
