I've been thinking about that for quite some time now. Race on the cheap with the mini's, and still have fun out at the trackdays with all my friends on the big bikes

I'll pick up a cheap SV one day and get out there for sure. Just now got a tmgp bike and I'm sure it will be contagious to want to stretch my legs on something faster.

I'm working on it. I'll be 50 soon and don't want to go out saying I woulda, shoulda, coulda, about anything. It's going to be hard on the wallet but if I have to Ghetto it I will. Right now size and class machine is what I'm on the fence about. I ride a virtually stock liter bike and the cost of tracking it would probably be equal to a turn key SV. As far a pace from what I can tell, I don't think that everyone in CMRA is blistering fast. I've seen plenty of "numbered" bikes with me in level 2 and 3 at ridesmart events (quite a few at Barber). So I really don't care where I finish, just want to be a racer.
Floyd, where are you going to get your liscense? LSTD?

My own improvments have come as a direct result of the endurance races. I don't tend to feel competitive at a track day so I don't push to pass folks.

PS. Even though I know I will never catch Racer997, I can dream....
