My brother got one and I wasn't really impressed. The end cap had a number stamp on it but for the price I guess you can't complain. I'd choose a used name brand exhaust over a danmoto for the same price.

yeah... mixed reviews.

My riveted can fell apart... multiple times. But I hear the welded ones are great. Then again, you can't repack the welded ones.

I had a silencer for mine... drilled one additional hole in the end of it to get the sweet spot between quiet and loud.

I had two of them, for the price you can't beat it and quality wasn't bad on either of mine. Sounds just like LOR imo. In fact there's a vid of mine on my zx10 on utube.

whats LOR?

edit: NVM googled it, Level One racing. Hadnt heard of them, checking them and danmoto out now. I havent heard of either actually, but I know that quality pipes are made by delkevic for the sv650 and they are rather cheap, did you look into those? or what about a cherry-bomb those always get old-skool street cred.

I liked my dan moto pipe--only problem I had was the carbon fiber cracking from the heat after only a week or two, but all in all, a good pipe for the money

dunno how much you spent but heres a pretty sweet and uniquely shaped delkevic for your gsxr750:

edit: that xg-1 is a sweet looking pipe with the "upswept" look and the duals, i really like that, would put one on my bike. do you know if they make them for sv650's? (i know exhausts are "kinda" one size fits all in a way) but i need silencers, i dont drive with loud pipes. im a swift quiet ninja, speeding silently down the highway =p.

My buddy has a set of dan moto cans on his z1000 and they sound great. They started turning an orange-ish yellow color pretty quick but actually looks cool on his bike. But he parks outside in the fl sun no cover so...

Danmoto makes several different styles of cans, some better built than others. I've had just about everything from Leo Vince to Yoshimura. Danmoto isn't in their league, but not exactly garbage either.

This is a problem with all carbon fiber when left in the sun, sure some have better clear than others, but a good coat of wax regularly helps ime.

If I want to take a nice street ride to the track occasional, and I've got nice expensive exhaust cans in it, I would seriously consider getting Danmoto as sacrificial lamb to the track gods.

A good portion of Danmoto customers probably think the same, as Danmoto sells a lot of very lightweight VERY LOUD exhaust.
