Looks good man, republic had a brand new 48 on sale for $8k yesterday. Was very tempting.

How does that springer seat feel compared to the stocker?

Its a little rough because of the solid struts replacing the rear shocks but its tolerable. I daily the bike 75 miles round trip and I have ridden many 2-300+ mile days and I always pack a few tylenol for those rides lol. When I first did the rear chop I had a 48 seat on instead of a springer and it was very bad.

In 2011 only they offered Chrome Yellow as an option. As soon as I saw the bike in the showroom I knew that was the color I wanted. Obviously it didn't sell well enough because it has been canned for 2012, dark blue and red are offered now along with flat black.

Sweet looking bike.
Do you still get full lock to lock steering with the bars upside down?

With the solid struts in the rear.... is that lower or higher than factory ride height?

Yeah I can still turn full lock both ways, the right mirror comes about 1 cm from the stock air box. The rear is lowered an inch with the struts.
