When that wear-indicator is flush with the rest of the tire, then you should go ahead and buy a new one. It looks like you have another 1/32" to go before that happens. I think I can see it in the first pic.

After I rode today I noticed that the wear indicator is now flush with the tire, so I'll be ordering a new one tomorrow.
