How much life do you think this tire has left?

It's kinda hard to see how close the wear bar is. But I say 300 miles or so

When the wear indicators are flush on the rear tire, you have about one good day of spirited riding left before the steel cords start to show

It depends on how long it took to get there. On a ST tire I'd give it another 1000-1500.

How fast are you riding? Are your tires inflated properly? What are the roads like? What is your tolerance for risk and getting home before a curfew? Just a few things you need to think about. I would be conservative though in any event. Two tires does not give you as much a margin of error as four.

Better pics, preferably with a penny upside down in the tread groove.

You will need one, if you planned on getting a new one anyways go for it, if not ride it out for a while longer, i'm almost in the same boat.

Time to throw a "retire-ment" party and do some burnouts and donuts. A good tire that has served you well deserves a glorious end to its career.

Great thread. The comments are top-notch, as always. Everything serious has already been said. Just get a new tire.

Yep I know but I have to save up for a new one so I wanted to know how much time I had left on this tire.
