Ogio No Drag Mach 1 Q.

I spoke with an ogio rep and asked if the backpack was waterproof. She said it wasn't, well not when submerged in water. I mentioned that it was going to be a commuter backpack and it would need to withstand downpours when commuting to UH. She then switched her answer to yes it wa waterproof. I also spoke with other stores selling the product and they said, to their knowledge they don't think it's waterproof.

My question to you: Has anybody used this backpack in downpour? What was your experience and results?

My choices:

2. http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0079QRS8K/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new

Used ogio no drag in the rain. Held up well. I would say water resistent not proof. Fine in a downpour.

So did your stuff stay dry during your commute? My main concern is if it can keep the inside dry for a 45 minute commute in downpour. Thanks.

Throw a plastic bag in there just in case, it does say nearly.

Streamlined, single shot molded exterior is nearly waterproof and will not deform from wind shear

Its water resistant....downpour for maybe 20 minutes. After that, itll start seeping. If you want a water proof bag use this.
