You guys are too rough on the OP. The man just needs a little guidance. My suggestion: I-610 south loop between Main Street and 288. Straight, wide, smooth, and if you pick the right time of the day/week, not too much traffic or cops. Best of all, it's right next to the Medical Center.

I am attaching a map of the best place to try this if you want. Traffic is very light in the evening. I would recommend 15R-33L, or the longer 15L-33R
Good Luck have fun and keep your headlight on.

Here's a thought - keep both wheels on the ground until you have a clue.

Been riding 3 months and you want to stand on your tail on Houston roads? Being kind, you're a idiot. This city has some of the worst traffic in the nation, it is overtly hostile to motorcyclists, and quite frankly, most of us look at people like you and think to ourselves "Yep - future organ donor. Just hope he doesn't the bike up too much when he dies".

Wow, thanks to those who wanna help. As for the others, I'm gonna leave it alone. It fascinates me how quick people are to talk trash when there are no consequences for thier actions. I'm not trying to look cool, I'm trying to find a place to practice where I won't be seen at all. I'm working on getting the 50, until then I want to develope some throttle control and conditioning and all I have is the gsxr. I ride with gear and I don't put anyone else at risk. It sounds like there may be some hatin goin on by some folks that couldnt ride a ferris wheel. I realize that I have little experience for what I'm trying to do but we all learn at different paces. That pp contest sounds awesome, I'm in! Lol

Uh - we all are trying to help, moron.

If you want to learn basic stunting techniques on a literbike, that's your choice. It is stupid on a good day, but you're free to be as stupid as you want. We're merely suggesting you not abuse that freedom.

Learn how to ride first. Get the little 50 and then go find a parking lot and learn.

Even THINKING you should learn on public roads borders on retarded. This is Houston, son. There are no "lightly traveled roads with no cops". Besides, cops are the least of your worries - I'd be far more concerned about Cinco Ranch Barbie in her Yukon....

You priced some of those Yukon's lately? Makes the Vette's look cheap. Besides, after the enhancements, she cant get her bewbs behind the wheel of a Corvette...
