No real reason to think Ben will have better luck. It's possible they can get a handle on it, and Ben will do well, iyt's also possible that he will be there for a year and jump ship. Maybe even go back to WSB.

He wanted too much money, Scott Redding is actually gonna pay gresini to let him ride....so Redding got the gig.

It's a horrible career move for Ben, not bc Ducati is , but bc the Ducati gp team...is . I think he should've taken the bmw ride but at the same time he already dominated that series, not a lot left to prove there.. I hope he does well, if the engineers get behind him and Audi throws in the coin, then maybe he can be exciting next season.

Rossi may be the best but his performance since his accident has slowly gone down. Then it really took a turn after Simo's death. The Ducati may fit Ben's riding style much like it did Stoner's. Only time will tell. I read on another forum that Ducati was trying to put 4 factory bikes on the grid but due to the 2 bike per team rule, they'll have to utilize a satellite team to accomplish this.

You're right about that. If there is anything the Ducati GP engineers have proven it's that they really know how to build a winner.

they haven't done bad considering their size and resources imo,
I give them far more Kudos than Kawa or Suzuki....

I welcome Audi's backing and for sure the money they bring is a positive but the whole car to bike technology interchange just doesn't work as history has shown.
A different approach to engineering is what I think will benefit Ducati the most, a little more head over heart if you will...

As for Pramac..the company is in Liquidation as of July so I doubt Spies and Iannone will be on the "Pramac Team" next year. It could be semantics but Ducati apparently reinvested the money they saved by not signing Rossi and bought or charterd is currently the Pramac Team.

Why I say all that it, we could see somthing that looks like this once more. Classic.

Time will tell if Ducati will be able to develop the bike better with Audi's money.

Great shot, but Ducati wasn't paying Rossi, at least not much. Most of his salary came from Marlboro.
