18 day trip. That's nice! If I won the lottery (if I played it in the first place) I'd have the time and cash to do trips like that.
For now the most I could do is a 14 day, 4800 mile, $5100 trip to Yosemite.

It was going to be more like 22 days. I didn't spend $5,100 cause we camped alot. Well not counting lost bike equity and plane ticket home.

dammit tell me when you do these adventures. I'm tired of doing this kind of stuff by myself. So many people are lame and don't like a good adventure.

Not sure when the next one is, but I'm hoping to fly to Alaska next year or the one after and buy a bike to ride home. Get on twtex and find guys doing regional rides. My problem is most of those guys are old and like to go to bed early. Half of my good times from adventures like this involve local nightlife at 2AM.

I have no regrets. It was a different adventure than the one I expected but I met some awesome people that helped me out and I didn't wreck.

I think I remember that but I'm not reading anyone's ride reports yet. Still too depressed to unpack all of my gear in the garage.
