Braver than I am, I don't have a huge problem with splitting, but in between the jersey barriers where you have absolutely no flexibility or escape route? I just don't trust drivers enough.

Thank doG there is a license requirement in place for operating a motor vehicle on public roads so at least society has some assurance the "others" have been trained (to some extent).

That was fun; maybe next time I'll instigate.

On a side note; I'm ugly. No wonder people have been giving me a wide berth.

Is that you in the yellow jacket?

That jacket looks like it has seen a million miles. I can grab a couple other snaps of you later.

It was a little fast for me (to be splitting) & I eventually dropped out of the group.

Ahem...well, yes. Wait, you figured out that from " I'm ugly". Plus it's only ~55K miles not a million; that and a slide on the pavement. I wash it, but the tar and chain gunk really don't come out and it still looks like afterwards. Now the bike hasn't been washed in the last 65K.

Every since school started back up it has sucked hard especially south of the 610. There must have been an accident today. I should have split but was chatting with the guy on the SV.

Here is dirtbike guy again...

This lady kind of freaked me out. She decided to pass me in my lane. Maybe she was going to run me over but decided it wasn't a good idea since I have a camera...

The Monroe park & ride really backs things up. Lots of traffic, and entrances from both sides of the freeway cause a bottle neck. When I had to be at work at 8:00, I'd come to a complete stop there evey morning. Not so much of an issue now that my schedule has changed.

Tried main lanes to Monroe P&R. then HOV. I noticed I was passing my marks in the HOV, but couldn't see them once I was on the HOV. So I don't know if they were in front or in back by then. Anybody tried/timed that run? Also I saw a lot of Police vehicles stuck on the HOV; what happens if you ride the shoulder passed them?

Oh, and the dirt bike guy passed me on the Feeder at Bay Area Blvd. I didn't see any accident; I think people were just being stupid again.
