Not to be pedantic, but it was actually a concrete truck. Cement is only an ingredient of concrete, concrete is created when one adds water, sand and aggregate to cement powder.
Unless of course it was actually a haul truck carrying cement in which case I stand corrected.

edit: Nope just looked through the pictures, that is definitely a concrete truck.

Here are some form yesterday on the way home

Bus must have caught fire, shut the whole HOV down.

Some people don't like it and move to get in your way. As long as you are going slow you can just go to the other side unless the cars are packed really tight together. In this case, we got pretty close.

It's actually not to bad. Only a couple people do it. Once there are more than one moto splitting/filtering they seem to quit it and MOST then get out of the way and even obviously and very nicly share the lane.

As it is, if all the cars stayed to one side we could share the lane. I think some people get way out of the lane to get a look forward too. At least the folks in the low cars. Not the Ahat in the black SUV.

I assume the risk and if I was to break a mirror I would gladly hand over my insurance information.

It does seem that in an accident situation, LEO dosn't really give a . Just stay out of their way.

Not sure why this guy had his door open. He closed it for the rider in front of me and opened it again then had to close it to let me through.

Maybe his AC is broken.

Do you roll film on every ride? I totally see why you would, just curious.

Yup. All the time. Unless I forget to clean up the card or charge the battery.

I used to pick and choose (choosing not to record the commute when the commute was all HOV, I have two offices), but noticed all the interesting things happen when I don't have the camera on. So, I got to keep it going all the time, even in the "safer" HOV lane.

is there any way to record over yesterdays ride home? like every time you ride you record over yesterdays, only if you "need" the vid then you download it?

Not that I know of, at least with the gopro. But maybe there is a workaround with the new bluetooth remote control (I don't have). Battery life is the real limit. After about a couple hours it needs a charge, so you plug it into a computer anyway. I can fit 8 hours of HD video on the card.

If such a device exists, and it can run on 12 volt, I want to install one in the minivan for the wife.

They play fine over the USB cable. So you can open a video form the card, close it and nuke it. You don't need to move everything form the card to choose what to keep.
