secondary throttle on a gsxr

Hey guys I was told my secondary throttle sensor is out on my bike today n I have to pay 1500to get it fixed :( I heard u can bypass it what do yall think about that ?

Look on the left side of the bike just under the frame where the throttle cable is, you should see a small cam in that area. Move the cam in an upward postion and this will open the valves manually so you can ride with full power. Look up "thegeek" on gsxrforums and he will fix it fir a very small price. Im fixing to send mine off. Been riding with moving the cam open manually for about 2 months, only disadvantges ive found is low end throttle response is not as smooth, high idle, and about a 2mpg drop.
