You didn't mention what kinda bike.
Sportbike? GSXR750, perfect blend of 600 handling and almost 1000 power
Standard? FZ6, comfy powerful, handles... great all around.
Cruiser? I don't do cruisers, lol

Loved my CBR for the performance, handling, and sound once I had the Akrapovic slip-on installed. It would howl through the ram air intake and scream out of the pipe

600 cc inline 4's super sports scream at high rpm but lack in torque , depends on what your purpose for the bike is.

Recently sold a 2007 CBR 600RR. Loved that bike.

Picked up a 2012 Triumph Daytona 675R about a month ago. It has unbelievable performance. I could never go back to my old 600RR.

which ever one fits you the best. They are all rediculously fast, and will handle any corner you can throw at them. Im sure if you're used to riding one or the other, there are some quirks that bug you moving from bike to bike, but they are all pretty close together performance wise. Time to go do some test rides!!!!
