I was going to let this thread go, but decided to take it like a man... Here goes...

Yep that was me. Yes I dropped it. First dropped bike. Fortunately the major damage was my ego rather than the bike. Talk about embarrassing. Yea I lost my balance and with the combination of the bike being slightly taller than I need it, and the fact that it has a TOTALLY different handling than I am used to, it dropped.

No paint damage really, the bottom has two small scratches that may not have even been the drop that caused it. Scuffed mirror, scuffed clutch lever, scuffed handlebar, scuffed foot peg. Biggest part is the broken gear lever. That's about 200 or so to replace.

So I have to say it was fun but did not end up being so in the end. Fortunately the fairings had no damage (surprisingly and without frame sliders). If anything it's a damaged ego! Blah....

Yea so next time look for the dude that has the paper bag over his head!

It's still got baby miles on it and I expected to have at least the first 600 miles done by the weekend. Unfortunately it's dead in the water. It was not easy to shift gears for the trip home! Hah!

hooligans doing wheelies and stoppies on their dirt bikes. Haha.

Had too much fun. Even got to take one one slyders co-workers for her first ride. She was even kind of cute lol. Been forever since I've ridden an inline four though. Felt weird for sure.

No worries man, I'm sure 99% of the people on here have had a bike tip over on them at some point. Now you have "the first scratch" out of the way, you can just ride it!

I dropped my GS500, my FZ6R, and my 954. Just to be safe, I bought my cbr1000 dropped already by the previous owner, so I should be alright, lol

It happens to all of us man! All it takes is a slight shift in weight and there she goes. Happened to me on my R1; but since I do alot of this I was strong enough to keep it from laying down!
