Glad you made it back. I'm already thinking of a trip next year. Maybe we could throw some ideas around together. Not sure what I want to do.

Day 5 - September 7th

Nothing to see here! Day 5 was a day of relaxation. Played golf with my pops at Santa Anna Golf club and simply relaxed the rest of the day.

Day 7 & 8 - September 9th & 10th

Decided to head back on Sunday. I did a marathon 560 mile ride from Albuquerque to Brownwood Texas. No sight seeing. Just orn ride.

Today I finished up my last 260 miles from Brownwood to Tomball.

Wish I had more time. There are so many more cool things to see in New Mexico. I want to take the DRZ next year (trailered though). I want an adventure in the desert.

yeah! I am game. I was paranoid about camping going solo even though I had my LCP with me. I would camp on a long trip to save a few bucks if there were other folks going.

One last video of the Jemez Mountains and Valles Calderas.

I did not spend much time putting these videos together. I hope you can at least get an idea of whether they are places you might want to ride!

I'm all about the camping. If I would have stayed in hotels for 24 days on my trip I would have been in serious debt.

Cool pics. I've been to Carlsbad twice. Last time there was only one elevator working so me and the kids got to go in the Natural Entrance and we hiked back out of it. They were allowing it for that day. Great experience and we were all in good shape so it wasn't that hard. I will go there again someday if I'm passing through. That place is magical to me.

There used to be some guy from Texas that owned all that land where the Valles Caldera crater is. Been through there numerous times and the surrounding areas. Los Alamos and Bandelier are awesome. I wouldn't mind living in that area.
