Thanks for the kind words everyone. I've decided to go back to college, between that and my recent crash at TWS (Texas World Speedway) this project has slowed even more... But, I'm no quitter and will find the time to work on it.

As promised here's an update:

While working on fixing up my cbr from recent low side at TWS (Texas World Speedway), it reinvigorated me to also work on my cafe. Cleaned out an area at the shop to start. Now that I have everything out in the open right next to my bay, I am more inclined to work on it. I see it everyday as a constant reminder to do something with it. Has worked so far as I have stayed after work to tinker or do little stuff here and there during lunch hour.

I've had the wheels done for a couple of months so I finally mounted them to the forks and onto the frame. Just the front though, as I'm putting new bushings into the swingarm so the rear wheel will be on soon. Also attached new rear shocks. Once wheels are on, I'll start working on the engine. Now for pics.

obviously not where the rear wheel sits, just where I'm resting it

The latest issue of CycleWorld has an article about the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show that happened, up in Austin, the same weekend as the MotoGP race at COTA.

On page 39, in the background, just above the front wheel of the subject of the photo, is a bike that looks just like CBRTrans.
I wonder if it is...
