street mode only 180 or 190 is fine. whatever you budget can afford I highly Recommend 2 Wheel Toys they are so cheap it makes crackheads feel bad for asking for money

for track i would only recommend 190/55 or 60 b/c contact patch is much much larger for more grip in turns

Michelin Pilot Power 2CT, 180/55-17, $125. In stock at Wild West Honda 281-392-8850. Ask for Bill. Thanks. It's been slow today with all the rain. How about a set of Bridgestone S20's for $189?

The reason is simply this: it changes the profile of the tire.
Putting a wider tire on a narrow rim flattens the tire profile (slightly).

Is it gonna kill you or create havoc to your bike? No.

THe profile is different and possibly unnoticible to you but personally, I want ,my steering as sharp as possible and changing tire sizes is a sure way to alter the steering and handling of a bike.

At the end of the day, If you feel good about it, do it but I stay stock tire demisnions on my bikes.

ditto. I run a 180 on my tuono (and also ran 180s when I still had my '00 mille).

the tuono came to me with a 190, and the owner's manual says you can use either tire size on these models, but I definitely prefer the feel of the 180.

Much debated item of discussion. 190/50v180/55 and in some cases 190/55. On my TL I've ran a 180/55, 190/50 and a 200/50. Differences are marginal IMO. especially when your just putting around the streets. Just get what u can afford and what factory calls for.
