Newbie but Oldie

Hi, Havent ridden in 25 years(sort of), raced motocross had a 175 enduro for street, cr250 Honda Elsinore, and an XLX 450 streetbike. sold all for college, got married, had kids and have been racing road bicycles for about 15 years ( yeah I know,no skills transfer with that) for a hobby. I have hit near 60- miles and hour on 25 cm tires on my bike, motorcycle really increase the size of the contact patch!Dont know what happened but now I want a motorcycle again, palnning on starting with a 250 sport beginner bike, and yes, no illusions here, screw around and get hurt or worse. Have never stopped loving motorcycles, just had to do other stuff first. First love (please dont tell my wife) was a ducatti monster
