Yea, I was threadjacking to draw Ivan's attn away from the newb ride so we could roll to Austin. I mentioned it to him yesterday as a possible idea for a labor day ride/trip. Didn't mean newb ride to Austin

If you help me with noobie ride early morning, I can go home and hang with my little one then head out. We might just have ourselves a deal.

Bring a backpack and pack only the essentials to keep it light...
I rode the backroads ALL day from Houston to Bandera back in 2008 on my 05 ZX-6R with a backpack LOADED with stuff. Or if you really wanted you could borrow my magnetic tank bag and try to store your essentials in there

We'll figure out specifics throughout the rest of the week...I need to start a labor ride trip thread tomorrow to see if anyone else would be interested...

If there's enough interest, we will be doing a noob friendly* 2hr backroad twisty route after the lunch meet on Saturday in Pearland!

*I have never set up a noob ride, so I will not call it as such. However, I will ride a noob friendly pace and have an experienced rider be the sweeper. This will allow everyone to have a fun and safe time with no worries of feeling like they need to catch up to the group. We will wait at all stops and allow everyone to catch up before proceeding.
