How about this?

The punishment for theft is loss of hand, that's it. jail, just cut that right off. Get caught again, lose the other hand. Now try to steal some . I want that job of hand remover.

To call the police? Hence the derogatory term and later movie title with Kevin James "Mall Cop"?

Brings back bad memories but glad it was recovered in such a short time. Chris is a really nice guy and that bike is very special and customized to him.

None at the moment..... :-(

All it takes is common sense folks. Never take any place you park your bike for granted. It really is quite easy to just take a bike when you leave it out. I can think of so many ways, and I'm not even trying. If you park in a covered garage or parking garage, you obviously can't put it in a ultra secure place. Therefore, install security measures or make steps to slow a thief down. I think someone mentioned wheel locks earlier? That's one way.

And bluewave and other guys are right. I can break a steering lock by myself and as well as start a bike and ride out, in probably under 5 min. I know Patrick sells the lo-jack systems for bikes. Very good form of cheap insurance. I've had stuff taken from me, only to locate it later. Don't take anything for granted now-a-days. Too many people out there that would rather still yours and mine instead of working hard for it, like every responsible person did....
