Question Removing stator

The bolts that hold the stator onto the stator cover either backed off or stripped, not sure yet. Now the stator is still on the bike after pulling the cover. Its being a pain in the to get off without using the stator cover to pull it off. Any tips?

, i hope you don't/didn't damage the windings. how'd it turn out?
something about this whole thing just doesn't sound right, to me. i've never heard of a stator coming loose from the cover.

Popped out easy. I replaced the stator back in January and the bolts just backed out. I guess i should've used some loctite. Now the heads of the old bolts are grinded down so I've gotta get some new bolts. I'll use loctite this time.
