FM149 runs right into FM3090, just north of Navasota. Best meeting point is probably FM3455 and FM3090, if I remember right, that is a spot where there is a gravel area which can serve as a parking lot. If you go from Hwy6 north on FM3090, it is on the right side.

I think we saw you all. We were the bikes sitting at FM3090 and FM149 where a huge group turned right. Beemer with Saddlebags, then a silver and red Honda VFR. There were a few bikes down the road on FM3090 too. When we hit FM149, another group of bikes.

On FM3090, we were caught up behind a hay truck and there was hay all over the road! A bunch of mud too, once he pulled off, the road was nice. Some new tarsnakes that got all our bikes a little wobbely in a right hander.

We didn't see any cops. I guess you all chased 'em away! Thanks. :laughing6

Were they going north or south on FM3090?

The only biiig group we saw was the Motohouston group. Looking at the pics in the other thread, it was definitely you guys we saw turning right on FM3090 at the intersect of FM149.

We saw another mid-sized group on FM149 heading west, they were about half an hour behind the big MH group.

Yup, that was the first bike. It is a blue-silver BMW, but not a cruiser, it just had hardbags. Then there was a silver VFR and mine, the red one.

Nah, it was just a friendly wave. Not everyone just holds their arm out straight, some put personality into their wave. :icon_bigg

I usually just hold my index out but put my arm straight out.

Glad everyone had a good ride today. Weather was awesome. I was packed like the Michelinwoman and was okay with the temperature. The sun definitely helped.

Tom, yeah I was playin clean-up at the end and I lost ya'll in Anderson. The bike started feeling funny so I slowed up thinkin ya'll would wait at the next turn and got to the T and noone was there...but then ran into 2 going back for fuel. Next time make sure you wait at every turn for the last man. That is also just a big safety thing so we know everyone makes it through all the turns!! But anyways...it was fun and we will definately have to do it again sometime!!!
