Small things are valve check and oil change.

My license plate bracket should be in tomorrow. Otherwise, I need to slap on the brake kit, figure out/wire up the control switch and horn, then install/wire in the brake switch.

Big thing left is Chad getting the bonded title for me. Then onto inspection, setting up insurance and getting mah plates.

Then.. We ride the streets..

Its the same horn on my CBR and CRF. Same one on Matt's CRF.

Ours are right behind the number plate.

I should be able to but, if i remember right, they are the same length as the new bolts. I'll double check later tonight.

The EBC kit I got for the KX was like that with the long bolts, quick trip to Ace Hardware took care of that

Nice. A Trip to the hardware store would definately be an easier task than cutting the bolts down to length. I'd probably up the threads anyways..

test spin it before you commit. My rotor was hitting the alignment clip from the brake pads. Plus the spacing was a little off. May have to shim the relocator bracket, depending on which wheel spacer you used.

Thanks for the heads up!

On a side note, i'll definately need some assistance to wire up this control switch whenever you might have some extra time. I'll bring the beer

No, I havn't yet. It's part of that control switch that i need some help with. I understand the concept how the switch is suppose to be wired in for the hi-low beam but i'm just not 100% when i look at the wires behind the headlight and want to get it right the first time before i go butchering the short amount of wiring that's there.

There's 3 wires total coming out of the headlight. Two wires next to eachother (obviously hi and low) and the lone black wire as usual.

The switch has 3 wires from the switch. One for high, one for low and then a brown wire. Just not sure how to connect those 3 switch wires into the 2 hi/low beam wires behind the headlight.

Then it's plugging in the horn and wiring up the rear brake pressure switch.

Thanks! Words cannot express the amount of fun this thing is to ride. By far the most fun bike i've ever thrown a leg over.
