Put her down again.

Well, just fell victim to some gravel outside my apartment complex doing about 45 mph. Just started braking when i lost traction at the front tire.... then downhill from there. gear absorbed most of it. my whole left side hurts like (hit a speed bump while sliding). Bike wise, looks like i lost a frame slider, cracked stator cover, bent rear set (shifter), and possibly a coolant overflow reservoir.

definitely annoyed.

I was beginning to slow down and switch lanes. Did not see the sand and gravel on the road that was definitely not there when i rode to work this morning.

now i know why most wrecks happen within 3 miles of the house....

Gotta be uber alert at all times, a few years ago gravel got me making a turn into my subdivision, 15 mph tops, like racers like to say, an easy crash.

That easy crash twisted my right foot 180 degrees and snapped tibia and fibula.

I blame a lapse of attention. ouch.
