So uhm er uh...

What's the weather looking like? I'm tryin to figure out whether or not to make my weekly trip down to Houston. Is it lookin' like it is going to rain or what? I 'm frustrated cause I haven't rode in two f^*kin' weeks and even when I did get to ride it was on a dayum fifty for a few hours and the big bike for 30 mins or so, 15 of um spent in the dayum rain.:BangHead: So what's the word?
(And NO...I don't trust the weather man enough to go off of that prediction because for those of you who have been keepin' track, the shyts changed like 4 times since tuesday)

I think I'm gonna go ahead and come down though because isn't Friday supposed to be sunny skies as well? I kno I kno, Houston can be sunny, then rain, then be sunny, get some hail storms and then be sunny and hot again before the sun goes down.

Or perhaps you should be a bit more meticulous. And I never said that they knew more but it is as with a doctor. If you have more than on doctor diagnosing you then you will have more than one diagnosis. That is to say that a weatherman may perhaps know more with regard to the weather and the science behind it but this does not neccessarily mean that they are ALWAYS right. I'm more than sure I am not the only person that has watched the news, heard it was going to rain, as predicted by "the Weatherman", and suddenly as the time come for said prediction to come into fruition...SUNNY SKIES!

Suffice it to say that the point of the thread was to get peoples opinions on what the weather looked like and what they thought the weather would be like...

i still don't understand why you would think we here would know more than the national weather service.

yeah, but what do regular people have to base their weather opinions on? i think everyone who gave you an "opinion" got it from a website or the TV. but for real, if there is a way to predict the weather without radar, etc. let me in on the secret.

I dunno, perhaps simply walkin' outside and looking up would be a start. If it's sunny outside with not a storm cloud in site, chances are I can predict it will continue to be sunny for atleast a small period thereafter.
