jardine baffles?

Does anyone know the difference between the street baffle and race baffle for the rt-ones? I'd like to know what is on my bike, if the race baffles are any louder than street, what performance differences there are and if the street baffle can be changed out if that is what I have. me off that my wifes sv650 with a yosh sounds better and louder than my rc.

You have Jardine 2-1 or dual slip-ons? I would bet you have race baffles, but that's just what I would assume previous owner had.

Also, louder isn't better sometimes. Take D&Ds for example. If you want loud on an RC your best bet is to shorten the overall can length.

I have duals. I don't necesarily want louder, just wondered what I had and if I had street baffles is there some sort of mod I could do to convert them. Surely the race baffles should sound better and yield more performance gains than street baffles. I can look into the outlet and see a solid sleeve that has 4 holes in it before it turns to screen about 6 inches in.

I would bet performaance gains are probably equal with the race cans being slightly lighter due to less baffle packing material.

I am not really a fan of the jardines but it is what can on the bike and with three kids and all there is no money to get satos. I have to work with what I have.
