Definitely shop around before you commit to a new set of slip-ons. When I put LVs on my Duc ST3 I found a set almost $350 less than what I was finding at most major online retailers. It was definitely worth it to shop around a bit

Nice discussion and a variety of opinions. I am waiting.

D3 grips are tops on my list. How difficult is installation? Then maybe a custom front number plate.

Its already been said. You'll get a better sound, better look and save a few pounds. Performance wise probably minimal return. Modern bikes are already tuned so well that the extra breath won't make a noticeable difference.

So, it's up to you to judge worth based on those things. To me it's worth it because I want to hear the bike and Suzuki sold me something that sounds like a vacuum cleaner. That said I want that little bit of performance, so if you can, get the headers/mid/and intake and get the extra power, too.

It was worth it to me. 1st reason was sound, like any vehicle I own I want to hear music coming from the engine exhaust. The bump in performance (however small it is) was the second reason, a 3% increase is better than none. The weight saving and looks are just another benefit that I enjoy. A full system would be nice but requires re-tuning and some people don't have that kind of coin laying around.
