Lone Star Rally Nov 1-4

We are going and I was wondering if anyone else is going or wanting to go?

We are considering either renting a beach house or renting a condo.

Either one would sleep 6-8 people the house possibly more.

So is anyone considering going to this event?

I'll be there but I live 10 minutes away so no real need for a beach house. I've been the past 5 years, it gets pretty crazy out there and super packed.

It was a blast last year.
My problem comes from the drinking and riding.
I'll drink slowly all day, but that leaves me slightly buzzed and by the time I cool it a bit to ride away, then I'm really tired.
But I wouldn't want to deal with taxi/driving either, and worry about leaving a bike in the open at a motel/condo/etc. We stayed in Pearland last year, which was close enough, but was still a long ride late at night after a long day.

We're debating this year. It's the group you go with that makes it fun... out of our group last year, 3 can't ride anymore. It's mostly cruisers, but nothing is out of place. Oh, and Burn-outs = tickets... no matter how much the crowd cheers.

last year (this is just the paid parking lot)....

, I have drill that weekend. I'll probably only get downtown for a few hours. Be safe and keep alert. If you have a nice bike down there you may think about removing your license place while parked. Some people got robbed at their home after being at the rally.

I have space for a dozen bikes to park. It's about a 21min(1mi) walk to the staging area on harborside. PM if interested.

Actually a lot of people from here go, there is usually a big ride set up for it...

Last year was freaking nuts.

I'm in for this year!
