You cant draw a pic of the Honda logo an sell it. You have to get Honda's permission. If he would have made them anonymous bikes w/ anonymous riders he woulda been fiine but since they are reproductions of race bike livery, sponsors, etc. I believe he had to take some proper legal steps before he sold them...

Well, maybe he can have those who want a picture watch him draw it. So, you are paying for a performing art which changes alot of copy right laws.
