Another one stolen ...............2005 white YAMAHA R6

My friend's bike got stolen late last night from his place on Sage rd by the galleria.
The thieves were recorded on the security camera. Security called the cops.
Two black guys put the bike in a silver pick up truck without license plates. The police arrived 5 minutes too late and I doubt they will be doing much about it.....as they confirmed.
If any of you know or seen anything please respond.
It was all painted white, no Yamaha logos, but a few others such as Motul and Michelin. High mount exhaust, HID's LED's. This is the only year model with the upsidedown forks, so there aren't too many out there.

here are some pix

Sucks. Did he have theft coverage?

Hope he gets it back in the same shape it was in before the theft.

So the "security" saw the theft happening, called the cops, but didn't confront the thieves? They had to drive past the security gate

Considering the amount they get paid... They aren't going to risk their lives to confront possibly armed criminals.

That is exactly the story I heard they said. ..........."afraid they might have been armed"
I am just passing the message along so not exact on all the details, i am sure the owner will be on line sooner than later.

When my bike was stolen, cops told me something similar about the video that was recorded.

Two black guys with a white Ford Dually with no plates. Was it a Dually? It might be the same guys on the streets stealing other people's bikes and the cops won't do anything about it.

The sad story is, even with theft insurance, the insurance company robs you the second time. You never get what the bike is worth.

Sorry to hear of your loss, but that bike is history.

Who's to say the thief will be riding it if you see it? Are you still gonna shoot just because you see someone riding it?
