AGV HELMETS

Does anyone own an AGV helmet and how do you like it? I'm looking at an AGV t-2. I have an O'niel tirade now and like it, just kinda heavy.

+1.

I bought the cheap ones from AGV and shield sucks. Plus they fit smaller than same size on other brands and padding is bad on the helmet so cant even wear it for 10 minutes straight without going nuts.

Never tried the high end ones on though.

Agv has discontinues production of T-2. The top of the line is the GP-Tech, Superb Helmets provided there is a perfect match with your head shape. Mind You, the GP-Tech has a completely different shape and fit from the t-2, grid and cheaper k-3.
There is a WORLD of difference between the GP-tech an any of the others in the AGV line up.

Don't think you can blanket all AVG's (or any other helmet, for that matter) like that. I wear a large Shark RSF3. A large Arai Profile, large Arai Signet-Q and a large AVG GP-Tech fit me as well. Other models of the same brands and same sizes feel small because they're the wrong shape for me.

i wear an XL Arai, and couldn't fit my noodle past the opening in an XXL AGV, let alone get it actually on my head

houston superbikes has alot of AGV and Arai, the higher end models.

I like the k3 fit "small head" but the facesheild flies up. I hate it will buy another helmet when I can aford it. Arai or shoei is the way to go if its not the gp arai

love my Celebr8 and my Donkey K3 Agv Helemts never had a problem, most shields open when you look back if it doesnt have the locking mechcanism, but you pay for what you buy the more you spend the more bells n whistles you get. Ive owned plenty of helmets shoei arai kbc scorpion hjc. Just go with what fits you but never skimp out on a helmet. Plus i hardly ever look back at times unless at stop light and lane changing at thats for a split second. Hope this helps
