Need to get a steering dampener first. front end shimmies at higher speeds.

Good deal David.. If it makes u feel any better; i got mine for $20 on ebay..
It pays to be cheap....

Yeah..i use them mainly for their weight...the lock is an added benefit to relax the right arm on long straight roads...get that steering stabilizer..

This is how one 919 owner mounted it.

"Drilled out the steering stop with a 7/64" bit and tapped it with a #8x 1.25 metric tap, also the same to the frame brace plate. Bolted it right up using a 1/2"spacer between the body swivel and the frame brace plate."

cool...we need to make sure it does not interfere with full turns..if the left fork pushes against the stabilizer.it may break..sure there is more than one area to mount it...we may need to fabricate some brackets..
would probably work better going across to other side...from under the tree
