TXORR Brazos Valley hare scramble 8-18

this will be the last summer series race before the fall season starts up..

It should be a very fun race, hot but fun.. come check it out, it's close to home and lots of riding to be had...even if you don't want to "race" come out and ride "open practice" on the race course just for fun.

bad property with like 300 feet of elevation....that said, no "legit" series points for racing and too hot for me so i'm skipping....I will be at Middleton for the start of the fall series on 9/1 & 9/2 though. Gonna try and actually be competitive in 2 hour open B this season I think

I'm excited to hit this race, I had a DNF my first time, this time I am aiming for the win...

The summer series only offers 1 hour races so the course will probably be a little easier than the two hour race course he had set up in the Spring. That course kicked my . I barely made it back from the practice lap. I have a new bike (electric start for when I crash on the hills) and a new attitude. I'm ready for the Fall series to start so I can redeem myself. I'm going this weekend to get some practice in and work on my heat stroke.

I'm like dbuck and gonna hold out for the fall series. I'm too young to die from a heat stroke. Lol

Sounds like a great track, but between the heat and the distance, I'm going to pass on this one. Maybe I'll stick with the RB trails to the sand pit for this weekend.

I will be out there to free ride at 8AM Sunday morning. It isn't often that we get to ride something with this much elevation, so I don't want to miss it.
