Here is $170.00 down the drain!

My ride was cut real short this morning by a flat front tire. We just got through the first set of turns on 362, pulled over to let others in our group catch up, and popped back onto the road for about a half mile. My front end was fighting me and I knew something was up so I pulled over. Flat tire! A two week old flat tire! Whatever I ran over went into and out of the tire but left a nice fast leaking hole that you could hear.I was really pretty fortunate that the tire gave up the ghost where it did because if I had been cooking on the next set of turns as quickly as the first set, I could be a statistic.
I'll be back at Motorcycles Unlimited this week getting another new Pilot Road 3.
It was a great tire while it lasted!

That one is plugged as well. Its how I got home but there is no way in that I will ride the way I do on a plug.
Will it work? Probably.
I do not want the tire demon popping into my head every time that I ride.
My fat aint pretty but its the only one I have. A 170.00 is worth piece of mind.

Somehow, I knew that was coming.

If you are serious, PM me your info and it is yours. I will have it replaced sometime this week.

$130 for a 120/70-17 Pilot Road 3 front tire if you're interested. Wild West Honda, ask for Bill. Sorry about the bad luck.

I'm cheap, but won't skimp on the important things like tires and brakes. The first time I replaced my rear tire, I found it was plugged by the PO. It's tempting for the cost savings, but these are high performance machines, and if you ride them like that occasionally, you don't want to cut corners on safety.

No, I think in terms of warranty, picking up a sharp object on the road is way out of thier range of things to warranty.

Amen brother! The last think I need when dancing in curves at high rates of speed is the "what if" demon in my head. Or worse, having a plug give it up when at high speed.

You may want to check anyway, I've heard of warranties even on road debris if the tire is really new (less than 100 miles).

There's no road hazard warranty.
That said, come up and I'll take care of the mount and balance at no charge to help out.

Yep, I never expected a road hazard warranty. It comes with the territory.
Thank you so much for your generosity! I will be there sometime this week for sure. Looking like Friday morning now but may squeeze in Wednesday.

Thanks Patrick!
