motor upgrade

Can/will a 2007 gsxr 600 engine bolt directly up to a 2002 gsxr 600 frame

i would image you would have to fab some brackets. Dont think its a direct bolt in.

It will not.

However there is a upper motor mount kit you can buy that let's you swap a 1k motor in to your frame from the same year bike.

You can always swap a gsxr600 motor with the same year/body style 750 motors. I've done it several times. Those motors have the same outside dimensions. 1k motors are usually a few mm taller so the upper bolt holes don't match.
