Looks nasty!!! (in a good way! ) You will enjoy the guzzi more than your ole ninja 500. Not that the 500 was bad, but a better sound with more power... well for some reason always makes the rider grin ear to ear.

Enjoy Lucydad take care of that bike!

Will agree that the sound is better, also that it makes the rider grin from ear to ear, however more power, no going to happen. One thing that the guzzi will provide that the ninja won't are a lot of people looking at the engine placement. You will get a lot of double takes.

Moto Guzzi offers that as an option, but the price is bit high....several train loads of Euros I hear....yeah , apologies on the pictures. I don't know why they post side ways. These are from my iphone. How do you get the larger size?

The MG torque band is much, much more accessible than the EX 500. At freeway speeds the V7 just trucks along no issues, the Ninja had to be wound up tight. Yeah, I had dude and his Harley *itch check me out on highway 99 this morning...she really looked me over, and I rolled on in third and left them behind....ciao

Saw you wiz by on Austin Pkwy yesterday. On my way to Fitness Connection and by the time I turned onto AP, you were gone. That red frame is instantly recognizable.

Yep...I was swanning about last evening...this weekend will see limited riding time due to a drilling well in the GOM about to TD sometime very early Saturday morning. But I can go out this afternoon and probably Sunday. It's a when work gets in the way of my Guzzi riding....love the bike!

Yep, 'bout the only time I get to ride over the weekend is early in the morning before the troop wakes up. If I so much as get home after they done ate breakfast, I get greeted with a room full of bunched up eyebrows.

I sure am glad I don't deal with offshore. The closest I got was testing some pressure control equipment at a rig docked at Galveston. Got to ride the basket and all. The offshore survival training was fun though. Got dunked upside down in a simulated chopper cage at the community swimming pool.

Maybe the sun and 7 planets will line up soon to permit a Guzzi to crowd my garage. We'll go ride.
