and writing tickets to stick in his pocket before he went to the hospital... and then they would just jumped on the bike (if it ran) with no helmet and drove it off.

We need more cops out there , period!
Not all cops are bad but not all people are good.

Then they would've handcuffed him and shot him in the back 28 times.

just to let you guys know how bad it is, i was stopped by hpd last year on the feeder of i-45 and dixie farm, the cop came up to me, says if theres a reason im speeding, then says he appreciates me pulling over, wrote me a warning and let me go. "thanks for pulling over" i dunno y but that kinda stuck in my head

I got pulled over on I10 westbound at washington last year and when I got off the bike I turned around and the Sheriff was crouched behind his door with his gun drawn, telling me to "get my ' hands up!"

I was like, "oh shyt, going to jail for 100 in a 65 sucks."

I laid my helmet on the bike and put my hands up, he pretty much tackled me from behind and slapped the cuffs on. Then picked me up off of the ground by the cuffs (<--sucks).

he stuck me in the back of his tahoe and didn't say anything. Like 10 minutes later, two back-up units arrived. Finally, the cop asked me for my license and explained that I was a suspect in an armed robbery of a convenience store on the Katy fre3eway - wherein the robber had fled the scene on a black motorcycle.

I was stuck, because that day I'd left my wallet at the house, and being a bar tender, all I had in my pocket was a fat wad of 1, 5, and 10 dollar bills.

I pretty much fit the description I guess.

After almost an hour the cops figured out that I wasn't their guy and they let me go. He said that all he ever did was chase guys on sportbikes.

OMG.... that is really messed up. But luckily they didn't hold you in jail while they were trying to figure all this out.

The deputy was kind of a and I suspected that there never was any 'armed robbery.'

Yeah, could have been worse.

Could have been alot worse.

Could have been jail, (though I'm not sure you can go to jail in Texas for speeding alone) ticket for speeding, ticket for not carrying my ID, ticket for no MC endorsement - or bike towed for no MC endorsement.

But even for committing these offenses, which I admit to, I would still say a cop was "kind of a " for pointing his pistol at me, using obscenities, throwing me on the ground, lifting me off of the ground using the handcuffs as handles and sitting me in his car for at least half an hour with no explanation.

I was cooperating, posed no threat, and was always very respectful. I wasn't riding in a deranged manner, just fast. Or, deranged, if you apply that term to someone doing 35 over the limit on the freeway in the middle of the night - and if you do, I don't fault you for it, but I've seen (and done) alot worse.

When I was younger I hated LEO with a passion. But I've grown up and learned to appreciate what they sacrifice to do their jobs. But I still expect proffesionalism from an officer of the law.

If he'd cuffed me, arrested me for wreckless driving and taken me to jail without all of his semantics I'm sure I would have been , but I would have been at the situation.
