What is a "route"?
What is Moderate?

So many things left open to interpretation.

Hard to define moderate on a sportbike ride when you are riding a scooter...

IIRC, his definition of "routing" is something along the lines of seeking out curves to ride. For example: Allen Parkway and the clovers would be a "route." He has also used "routing" to describe the Wednesday night 610 hooliganism.

I think TMAX's question was rhetorical. More of a "Do you HAVE to haul ? Why can't you just cruise and chill?" than anything else.

Yes i was speaking of the hooliganism. I beleive they go in and out of traffic at excess speeds maybe triple digits. I mean in a route do you just have to go as fast as you can?

Cause if i'm going 10-15 miles faster than traffic, to me it feels like a route, (going in and out of traffic) but i'm going probably only 85-90. And of course, usually its becuase i'm runnin late, but it kinda fun!

I guess I remember back in the Houston Rider days, I had defended the route gang, and i called any kind of spirited riding especially in the twisties, "routing", HAHA those were the days. Looks like Newrider is going routing on Sunday!!!

PS i got invited to go "route" thus the question.

Trust me.. you haven't been along with a "spirited" group..

Brisk maybe and quick in the turns.. but "spirited" is another story all together.

And triple digits is above anyones definition of moderate. Kinda like posting a Noob ride and hitting 3090 in the triples.
