I read a lukewarm review of that bike in comparison to a Triumph Daytona. Wonder if they fixed the throttle issues

Back when I was in high school I worked at a party supply store in the balloon section. Once, a group of guys brought in a blow-up doll they wanted to me to inflate with helium. The doll was named "Three Holes Linda". I am not certain why that memory is coming back to me right now...

Stopped by after lunch and saw the F3. I would pick it over the Daytona R, just for the exotic factor.

I was there to ask about the Brutale 675, though, in my never ending quest to find the right replacement for the ape.

The white ones are sweet as too! MV's are as exotic as you can get! Volf, I thought you were going to replace the kawi and keep the Ape.

Casting a wide net right now and taking my time. No more buying on impulse. I'll probably decide which to let go towards the end of the year. Maybe even both. This time I'm gonna read up on forums on the prospective make and model before pulling the trigger. Hopefully that will help minimize buyer's remorse.

The 1199 Panigale has a lot of recalls now in it's first year...food for thought

Id take one ofthe F3's in black if I had mad cash laying around...
picturephp?albumid736&amppictureid3705

I wonder how hot the exhaust gets under the passenger foot peg and how fast it would melt shoes. I two up with my wife whenever I can and can only imagine the problems she would have with the heat at stops/low speeds.

I fell in love with the MV in early 2000.
picturephp?albumid736&amppictureid3703

Then I saw the 2010 MV Agusta F4CC and was wowed. (Without any real intention all of my bikes have been black. Ive just happened accross them all.

Go to www.mvagusta.net/ and read up , I loved my mv but it had a list of problems . When they released the Y10 it was suppose to have resolved alot of the known issues but they failed . Owning one is definitely a love hate relationship . They are "motorcycle art" so you better get use to it sitting there and looking pretty , FWIW

Everyone I know that owns an MV has at least another bike as a back-up. They have a host of issues...getting parts being the main one. I am an impatient so my bike being off the road for months at a time was not going to work. If I had time for 2 bikes I would have snatched up an F4 in a heartbeat! I would keep at least one of your current bikes if you were going to go with MV!

Sounds like MVs are a whole lot worse than apes. The RSVR really hasn't been bad at all by Italian bike standards. The few minor issues were easily fixed and didn't cost too much. It's just difficult to justify keeping it around when it only gets ridden once every few weeks, if even that. I need to find something that isn't a full-on sport bike, so I can time-share with the C14 (or another sport tourer) easier.

I don't mind a little "character". Would prefer it actually. As little recreational riding I get to do, I'd like for every ride to stir the soul. Low mileage means I can compromise a bit on reliability or short maintenance intervals.

For whatever reason, I just don't got the hots for most Ducatis.
