No harm to to call around and ask. Add transportation cost to get the wheels there and back, especially if the place is on the other side of town to where you work or live. Unless... you make an appt. to ride there and wait for it. Then you have to pay for labor to dismount and mount the wheels off the bike. Kind of a wash one way or another.

Best way to deal with it is to find a way to mount the tires yourself. Nomar makes a trailer hitch adapter that let you change your tire wherever your park you car (with a 2" hitch of course). Or you can do what some people have done with zip ties or come-alongs, which looks doable, but I don't know first hand.

If you gonna ride for quite some time to come, you might as well get this issue taken care of and start saving on tire changes.

Bridgestone S20's still on sale at Wild West Honda for $199 a set. I have a huge inventory of tires and would be happy to make a deal on any other brand if you want something else. Our labor charge if you bring the bike in is $99. If my guys do damage anything, I will make it right. I also have a couple of cheaper options from independents if you prefer, but can't guarantee you're wheels won't get scratched. PM me or give me a call at the shop, ask for Bill and mention Motohouston. Thanks.
