I don't think anyone bought a apache to catch sportbikes. I think some national guardsman were having fun IF the picture isn't a photoshop product.

Not an apache. The feds use blackhawks to catch drug runners, nothing with weapons for traffic observation

I can tell you for certain that Virginia and South Carolina has those signs on the freeway but i never seen any helicopters in my time there.. They definately wouldnt be military.

I say, photoshopped.

I don't doubt they use aircraft for speed enforcment in places, but I seriously doubt they can afford to use an apache.

the texas national guard assists state troopers on catching speed violators in parts of west texas. what they use varies, but their weapon of choice is generally the A10 Warthog. Since the start of the war, I believe the program has ended, or stalled do to resources being needed elsewhere.
